Work With Us To Change The Industry.

Tilly Nelson and Inclusive Experiences (IX) have come together to support branding and marketing agencies with the goal of increasing authentic representation of people with disabilities. By combining expertise in photography, consulting, casting, on-set support, and staff training, together we offer a holistic approach to inclusion at every stage of the creative process.

If you want to explore how you can increase representation, reach out to us and lets work together to change the industry.

Image description: Solid dusty blue background. Centered white font reads: Five things to consider for your next campaign. Below the title is 5 written points that talk about how to increase representation of people with disabilities in campaigns. The layout is designed with tick boxes to the left of the list. At the bottom is a qr code that links to this webpage and the audio description/ transcript.

*Our postcard models some inclusive design elements. The text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 to the background, this makes it more visible so that it can be read by people with low vision. The text on the front pages was also designed using Camel Case which is more accessible. We also provided audio, image descriptions and alt text for those that might benefit.

Blue postcard #1: Postcard front. Solid dusty blue background. Centered white font reads: Because Representation Matters. Smaller print at the bottom reads: Work with us to change the industry.

Adult postcard: A Black man sits on a modern sofa, gazing forward. He is wearing a yellow T-shirt, black pants, and holding a folded white cane. The interplay of light and shadows adds depth to the photo

Blue postcard #2:  Postcard front. Solid dusty blue background. Centered white font reads: Let's Increase Representation Together. Smaller print at the bottom reads: Work with us to change the industry.

Who we are:

Tilly Nelson - Photographer

A commercial lifestyle, fashion and portrait photographer pushing the industry to create inclusive and diverse imagery in a way that normalizes inclusion.

Tilly believes that it’s no longer good enough to just be diverse, we have to come together to create safe and inclusive productions that increase representation for all. Her love for working with people allows for her images to cater to a range of clients that are also passionate about increasing representation. By approaching projects in a way that allows us to grow and learn from the communities we are representing, we create authentic and powerful work.

As Tilly pushes to lead that change in the industry, the saying ‘not about us without us’ stands as one of the core pillars of her work. Tilly is known for approaching projects from an inclusive angle and bringing a kind and gentle approach to set.

Shawna & Elisabeth - Inclusive Experiences

We help companies create Accessible and Inclusive Experiences that honour the vast tapestry of human diversity, particularly centering disabled people's experiences, needs, and expertise.

Working at the vital intersection of Innovation and Anti-Ableism, we apply principles of disability justice, universal design, accessibility and social innovation to create meaningful experiences. With an authentic and lighthearted approach, we address work that can often feel heavy and uncomfortable.

Committed to continuous growth, we’re on a mission to build a network of anti-ableist allies and accomplices.
