Stela 9 works directly with expert artisans to produce beautiful clothing and prides themselves on their ethical and sustainable business practices. They create consistent employment in Guatemala and pay fair prices to their artisans. Producing pieces that are ethically and sustainably made is at the forefront of their brand. I was fortunate enough to travel to Antigua,  Guatemala to meet and photograph their new collection being produced. Irma and her employees warmly welcomed my camera and I into their workshop, where they hand-make each aspect of the clothing.

Stela 9’s new collection was then shot in Vancouver and sold out so quickly that they have had to re-release its pieces later in the the year once new stock could be produced.
